Our Casoola Casino Review
Casoola's ownership picture is one of the strangest we have come across: rather than one company being described in different ways, there seem to be two completely separate companies, each tied on its own to the same sister brand. In this review we put every claim next to the others, look at the dispute over the licensing jurisdiction and compare bonus figures that differ by a factor of ten before giving our verdict.
A simple, unweighted average of six categories. A weak result in one category is supposed to stand out, not be hidden by the rest. Worked out in August 2026.
Two operators and the Vegas Hero coincidence
| Source | Operator named | Other details |
|---|---|---|
| completesports.com | Genesis Global Limited | Speaks of a "strong reputation" and MGA and UKGC licences |
| aboutslots.com | Genesis Global Limited | Adds a licence from the Swedish Gaming Authority |
| playcasino.com | Genesis Global Limited | Lists sister brands Casino Joy, Casino Cruise, Vegas Hero and Genesis Casino |
| tribuna.com | Mondero Enterprises Ltd | Says the operator name is "not clearly displayed on the website" and mentions a Costa Rica registration |
| igamingtoday.com | Mondero Enterprise mtd | Reports a relaunch in January 2026 and names sister brands Vegas Hero and Magius Casino |
Three sources point to Genesis Global Limited, which gives it a bit more support than the two references to Mondero Enterprises. What really stands out, though, is that both operator stories — told in entirely separate articles with no obvious link between them — each name Vegas Hero as a sister brand. That is either a striking coincidence, a shared mistake copied from one review site to another without fact-checking, or a sign that Vegas Hero itself changed owners in a way that makes both claims true at different times. We could not work out which explanation is right.
Four licensing jurisdictions — and why Costa Rica is a different kind of claim
On top of the dispute over the operator's name, the licensing jurisdiction is given four different ways: Anjouan (Comoros), a combined Malta/UK/Sweden claim, Costa Rica and Curaçao. Costa Rica needs special attention because, as one source points out, it does not issue conventional gambling licences at all. Companies registered there usually hold only a general business registration, sometimes called a Data Processing License, which comes with none of the player-protection or dispute-resolution obligations that a real gaming licence from Malta, the UK, Curaçao or even the lighter Anjouan system would bring. If the Costa Rica claim applies to your account, expect noticeably less regulatory protection than under any of the other three jurisdictions. None of the four is a licence from a Canadian provincial regulator.
A bonus gap of ten times
One source reports a welcome package of up to C$5,000 plus 300 free spins aimed at Canadian players; another reports a C$500 welcome package alongside 9,000+ games and full Interac support. A tenfold difference in a headline bonus is far bigger than the percentage or currency differences we usually see for other brands, and it is plausible — but not confirmed — that it reflects the two-operator dispute, with each version of the brand running its own welcome offer. Our bonus page has the full comparison.
Complaints, and what "no deposit or loss limits" means for you
One source describes a general trend of player complaints, mostly about verification speed and the occasional delayed withdrawal, while another says explicitly that there are no deposit, loss or wager limits comparable to those at more established operators. Put together, these findings make each other worse: weaker built-in spending controls plus a reported pattern of friction around verification and withdrawals is a combination to take seriously, even without a single dated complaint as specific as some we have documented for other brands.
What Casoola gets right, and where it falls short
Where it does well
- A big, consistently reported game library (~9,000 titles, 600 jackpot games) from well-known studiosSources agree
- CAD accounts and full Interac support confirmedThird-party review
- 24/7 live chat, according to one sourceOne source only
- A large welcome package, whichever version your account getsSeveral sources, amount disputed
Where it falls short
- Two completely different operator names, each tied separately to the same sister brand, Vegas HeroSources disagree widely
- Four disputed licensing jurisdictions, one of which (Costa Rica) is not a real gaming licenceSeveral sources, still unresolved
- No deposit, loss or wager limits on a par with more established operatorsOne source, specific claim
- Confirmed as excluded from Ontario's regulated iGaming marketConfirmed
How we put this review together
Because we found the very unusual situation of two separate operator stories each claiming the same sister brand, we treated the agreement of three sources on Genesis Global Limited as better supported but not confirmed — an important distinction, since a shared mistake can easily spread between review sites that copy one another instead of checking a public register themselves.

How Casoola's transparency compares with other brands we cover
Casoola's case is wider in scope than most brands we have reviewed. LolaJack had four operator names under one disputed licence jurisdiction, and Zoccer had four licence claims but just two named operators; Casoola has two completely different operator identities and four separate licensing claims at once — and, uniquely among all the brands we have covered, both rival operator stories name the very same sister brand. It is this combination — the two conflicts reinforcing each other, plus the strange Vegas Hero overlap, rather than either issue alone — that puts Casoola's transparency rating among the lowest we have ever given.
What the relaunch story could explain
One reasonable interpretation of all the above: Casoola may really have operated for years under Genesis Global Limited's established operation licensed in Malta, the UK and Sweden, and then changed owners or relaunched in January 2026 under Mondero Enterprises Ltd with a lighter Costa Rica registration. If so, older reviews describing the Genesis Global version and newer ones describing the Mondero version could both be accurate — each would just be describing the brand at a different moment. It would also account for the Vegas Hero overlap if that brand changed hands in the same deal as Casoola. We could not confirm this story, but it is a fairer explanation than assuming one group of sources invented its findings, and it is worth remembering whenever you read a review of this brand that has no clear publication date.
Our overall verdict
Overall, Casoola sits towards the more cautious end of what we cover, mainly because the operator and licensing confusion keeps compounding — not because of any single documented complaint as serious as some we have found for other brands. The large, consistently reported game library and the confirmed Interac/CAD support are real strengths we saw no reason to question. Still, anyone considering Casoola should make the operator's identity the first and most important thing to settle in their own account, since our research could not resolve it from outside sources. Casoola holds no licence from a Canadian provincial regulator, so check whether the operator accepts players from your province — and if you live in Ontario, look elsewhere, as the brand is confirmed to be excluded from that province's regulated market.
Frequently asked questions
Sources differ widely on both who operates it and where it is licensed — one of the biggest transparency gaps we have recorded — so serious caution is warranted before you deposit.
We could not confirm a single answer. Genesis Global Limited has slightly more support across sources (three) than Mondero Enterprises Ltd (two), yet both versions strangely list Vegas Hero as a sister brand.
Sources disagree across four jurisdictions: Anjouan, Malta/UK/Sweden, Costa Rica and Curaçao. Keep in mind that Costa Rica does not issue real gambling licences.
No — according to one source, Casoola is not listed in the iGaming Ontario operator directory.
